Hi everybody. I hope all is well with you and yours, and that you’re finding creative ways to enjoy life. The economy has affected many of us to such an extent that we feel forced to eliminate the “extras” from our lives in an attempt to ensure that the “essentials” are taken care of. Ironically, sometimes the “extras” are essential to our well-being. I know times are difficult for many families these days---people are dealing with job losses, illness, divorce, emotional upsets, and other personal issues. I truly wish I could afford to offer free art classes for everyone, but the rent wouldn’t get paid and I’d have to close up shop…it would be very sad indeed. My compromise is to be open to your circumstances and come up with ways to make sure you get to take classes even if you are worried about your finances. I do not want the anxiety-ridden energy of concerns about money to taint your excitement about the endless possibilities of having art in your life, or your child’s life. Call me and let’s work it out together.

White Rock Lake Artists' Studio Tour October 17th & 18th
Visit local artists in their studios and tour local art centers this fall during the 16th annual White Rock Lake Artists' Studio Tour. Saturday, October 17th 10am-5pm and Sunday, October 18th 10am-5pm. Artistic Gatherings is on the tour again, too!
